Freelance Content Editor / AI-Assisted Copywriter (Potential to Go Permanent)

We’re seeking a talented freelance content editor and writer to help deliver our Content Automation Tools service — a streamlined, AI-assisted content solution for busy SMEs. This is a freelance role with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for refining AI-generated drafts into polished, brand-aligned content that includes blogs, email newsletters, and social media posts. Each project includes 8 pieces of ready-to-publish content, guided by a simple editorial calendar and supported by client feedback.

What You’ll Do

• Edit and enhance AI-generated drafts for clarity, tone, grammar, SEO, and engagement
• Ensure content aligns with each client’s brand voice and content goals
• Collaborate on content calendars and topic planning
• Implement one round of client revisions per project
• Deliver final content in a clean, organised format ready for publishing

Requirements

• Proven experience in content writing and editing (ideally with SEO knowledge)
• Ability to work with AI-generated drafts and refine them for human readability
• Excellent command of written English and brand tone adaptation
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet 10-day turnaround deadlines
• Freelance availability with interest in growing into a permanent role

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai, etc.
• Experience working with SMEs or marketing agencies
